It is called the “biggest stage in the world”. The Super Bowl Halftime Show is watched by more than 110 million people. The Super Bowl Halftime show is one of the most anticipated concerts of the year! Some of the most popular singers in the U.S. have performed like Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce. The person who is performing is usually a secret until a couple of months before.

In Super Bowl I, Grambling State, a small college in Louisiana, and Arizona State’s band teamed up and played songs from The Temptations and The Jackson 5 for the first Super Bowl Halftime show ever. The hype of the halftime show has increased a lot over the years. This year, Maroon 5 performed. Many people are saying it was bad, and Maroon 5 didn’t do well with performing.

There have been many up and downs of the halftime shows. One of the best ever has been Prince in 2007 or Michael Jackson in 1993. Some people have been unlucky with flukes, like the Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake incident.

Even though this year’s halftime show wasn’t the best, there’s always next year. Who will perform?
