With us all

At the door

Around the corner.

Onto us are see-through laws

Of racism and prejudice……

Out of reach now

Against you and I

Behind us now

Below my mother

Beneath my father

Beyond minority reach

For the majority

Away from me and my creed

Beneath the lower classes

Into my dreams

With us is not the dove

Away from me, away from you

Since my language prevents my uprising

Throughout my life

Til I leave

Unlike I, you will have a great living

Upon us all

With great pleasure

To you, I give you the opportunity

To university, you will go
