Have you ever wondered where someone was looking off to? Their pupils would be faced somewhere else. A piece of artwork that perfectly describes that is the Mona Lisa. The Mona Lisa is a painting of a woman, believed to be Lisa Giocondo, wife of a wealthy Florentine (Francesco del Giocondo), with an interesting background. The background is believed to be somewhere seen from heights in northern Italy. The Mona Lisa was painted by the Italian Renaissance artist, Leonardo da Vinci, in 1503. The Mona Lisa is really a masterful work of art! To visit the Mona Lisa, the painting is presently located in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, so don’t forget to visit!
